After a game, you can quickly put together a post-game report in FastScout to review stats and share key insights with your players and staff. Follow these steps to create a comprehensive report that includes game-specific and season stats, as well as space for your own notes.

Steps to Create a Post-Game Report

Create a New Self Scout
Begin by navigating to the “Self Scout” section in FastScout and selecting NEW SELF SCOUT

  1. Set the Game Date

    • Important Step: To capture stats correctly, set the “Game Date” as one day after the actual game date.
    • Why? This ensures the report pulls in stats from both the most recent game and season-to-date information.
  2. Choose the Report Template
Select the template named “FastModel Advanced Post Game Report”. This template is optimized to display key post-game stats, including breakdowns of the last game and season performance.

  3. Add Game-Specific Notes
Once the report is generated, use the notes section to add any observations or feedback specific to this game. This is a great place to highlight standout plays, areas for improvement, or tactical adjustments.

  4. Share the Report with Your Team
When you’re ready, share the report with players and staff. This post-game recap helps reinforce learning and keeps everyone aligned on season goals.

  5. Modify the template to fit your needs
Add, remove or edit any tiles on the report, then save a new template to save yourself time in the future/

By following these steps, you’ll have a well-rounded post-game report that combines the latest game data with season insights, ensuring players stay informed and ready for upcoming games.
